I want to give you more boring news. I thought it was interesting to note that the Turkish President was sitting next to the Israeli President in a panel discussion at Davos World Economic Forum. Instead of discussing world economy, they engaged in a fierce battle of words on what Israel did in Gaza and in the end the Turkish President walked out of the platform as he was obviously so frustrated with the Israeli President's answers and the moderator who he thought didn't give him a fair amount of time to rebuttal. Turkey, at one point, tried to mediate Israel with its neighboring countries, I heard. Another participant in Davos Forum, a US professor of economics (I believe) predicted in response to a media interview that the things will be worse this time next year. The world looks doomed at this moment. Minoru Mochizuki --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Persons posting messages to not_honyaku assume all responsibility for their messages.
