This would be a follow on issue, but for the existing code in 2.1 it may be good to add test that manually creates tablets with files that are not normalized correctly (like `hdfs://abc/accumulo////tables/etc`) and then compacts (internal and external), splits, and merges those tablets. To create the misnormalized files could write data to a table, flush, take offline, edit file path, and then bring back online. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
