@aminghadersohi @rusackas this is the second piece of the #44808 split, now ready for review: the host-side store and cache identity for the SDK contract in #44834. It is stacked on #44834, so please review only the commits after `fa0de7b6`. It is default-off, CI is green, and the API and UI follow in #44849 and #44851.
