Review Comment:
With supported redis-py 5.0.0, the Sentinel master client treats its
supplied pool as externally owned, so this context-manager exit does not
disconnect that private pool before its event loop closes; repeated commands
can leave sockets awaiting garbage collection. Could the master pool be
explicitly closed, with a minimum-version test that checks disconnection rather
than mocking context-manager exit?

Review Comment:
A failed totals recomputation returns an empty DataFrame with status FAILED
and an error, so this accepts it and injects empty contribution totals;
normalization then uses only the returned main-query rows and can cache 100%
where the full denominator would give 10%. Could the result status/error be
checked before executing or caching the dependent query?

Review Comment:
On a cache miss, a SQL-backed parent that runs past the 30-second metadata
budget cannot fetch its participating semantic annotation afterward: this
lookup only peeked the catalog, so first view binding fails on the expired
deadline even with warm metadata. Could the annotation observation be captured
on a miss before the slow parent query starts?

Review Comment:
A provider payload such as `{"value":1e9999999999999999999}` raises
`decimal.InvalidOperation`, escaping this handler instead of becoming
`invalid_payload`; the same exception also escapes `_decode()` on a stored
envelope. Could both parsing boundaries handle decimal conversion failures so
bad metadata cannot bypass the categorized-error/cache-miss paths?
