I don't 'need' it. However, it makes it easier to include multiple CAB files, depending on the target environment. Creating the EXE also gives the advantage of reducing the size of the overall distribution. As a stand-alone setup program, I was NEVER happy with e-Pocket Setup. Inno always impressed me as a much more robust and reliable app. However, e-Pocket Setup was more than adequate at creating the CAB files and an EXE that could easily be called from the main setup created by Inno.
