I had been heartened by early information the CE still lives under the skin of the new Phone 7 platform. However Simon Judge gives a 50,000 foot view of what was revealed at MIX 2010. It doesn't look pretty:

While these devices probably won't be in consumers' hands until late 2010 or early 2011 it feels like a dark day already.
