<Just last week I asked what bordun meant and was told it meant drone! This would fit in with the Rev. Clifford's explanation of Bordun as a musical process. Only colloquially then is it the hardware. Whatever, the plural is "Bordune" (more than one instance of the musical process, as in "this piece has uses different drones at various points").
