Good to know that KT is not "responsible" either. It would not be the first time in this forum that the lady has been directly and indirectly knocked. IMHO the bottom line with KT is that she is building on the tradition (and magnificently) rather than either simply acting as its curator (at best) or falsifying it (at worst). Like it or dislike it, but don't dismiss it. The baroque trumpet versus jazz etc. argument is relevant here too. I bet there were traditionalists centuries back who were strongly opposed to falsifying the intrinsic nature of the pipes by closing the end of the chanter and adopting exclusively closed fingering! Hails of derisive laughter, Bruce! chirs To get on or off this list see list information at http://www.cs.dartmouth.edu/~wbc/lute-admin/index.html
