Yes Burnley are leading Brum by 4 points.
They are top of the list in my Excel "End of season projection" as well.

That'd be great if it lasts as I've had a couple of bets on them to take out
the Prem Handicap.
Er, have to admit having a couple of bets Wolves to win the bleedin thing as
well.
These poxy confessions are getting tiresome, thank god I'm an atheist and
don't have do it too often.

I think I'll have the same bet for all of the matches against the big 4
teams. One of them is bound to some off.

Remember Kenny Miller?

Betting for Wolves to come fifth in the Prem is beyond the pale though.

Who's winning the handicap at the moment Rog? Burnley?

2009/11/26 Morris, Lee SGT <[email protected]>

I did exactly the same, I thought I'd be smart by covering my win bet with a
draw bet...how funny is that.

Then I got told we were paying $24 in the UK.....That William Hill bloke is
no mug.

Okay, while we're all fessing up to embarrassing lapses, see attached.

That is very embarassing. You and Ipswich are owning up to some embarassing
things on here today.

He has reasonable provincial form.
In Group company it's woeful, either with no money or stacks of it.

Only a complete idiot would back him to do anything useful in this division.
When I backed us at $251 to win the division "without the top four" I was
stonkered and felt so ashamed the next morning on finding out what I'd done.

The only way to get Premiership experience and to become a good Premiership
manager is to actually be in the division. I think give him a full season
run, and if we stay up, lets see how he goes with more money.

What a terrible predicament we are in, we've got a manager who may just
fluke it and keep us up, but if we do go down we know he's a good
championship manager.

So what you are saying is we are unlikely to sack him this season because
he'll be ok in the lower league?

Why does he deserve a full season this year???? Surely if it looks likely
that he will take us down, we should act whilst there is still time for us
to be saved?....Another month and we'll have a better idea.

I doubt MM will get sacked until he's in the same position as DJ next
season. I can't see him getting the boot this season no matter what the
result. He deserves a full go this season and he's the man for the job next
season if we are down.

in this age of "player power", maybe we should do away with the manager
role, after all the manager had no influence over the performance of the
team if I remember correctly ;-) and let the players decide how they want to
play?

And replace him with Paul Ince I presume?

so if Pompey can sack their manager so soon, why can't we do the same? Come
on Morgan, you know it makes sense...
