The only way to get Premiership experience and to become a good Premiership
manager is to actually be in the division. I think give him a full season run,
and if we stay up, lets see how he goes with more money.

What a terrible predicament we are in, we've got a manager
who may just fluke it and keep us up, but if we do go down we know he's a good
championship manager.

So what you are saying is we are unlikely to sack him this
season because he'll be ok in the lower league?

Why does he deserve a full season this year???? Surely if
it looks likely that he will take us down, we should act whilst there is still
time for us to be saved?....Another month and we'll have a better
idea.

I doubt MM will get sacked until he's in the same position as DJ next
season. I can't see him getting the boot this season no matter what the
result. He deserves a full go this season and he's the man for the job
next season if we are down.

  in this
age of "player power", maybe we should do away with the manager role, after
all the manager had no influence over the performance of the team if I
remember correctly ;-) and let the players decide how they want to
  play?

And replace him with Paul Ince I presume?

    so if
Pompey can sack their manager so soon, why can't we do the same? Come
on Morgan, you know it makes sense...
