Greetings,

1.  How much data do you have to backup?  If your backup is going to run
long because you are backing up multiple servers over the wire, you may
want to consider multiple drives.  Otherwise you run the risk of running
your backups during business hours.

2.  Most backup programs can explain that better to you than I can.

3.  Most backup programs come with an Open File Agent.
