Well...supposedly, SCUP (part of ConfigMgr 2007) is supposed to allow easy updating for any non-Microsoft product. Microsoft has opened this up to any vendor but only a few have taken part in it. All the vendor has to do is create a catalog file and their updates can be included to be distributed using the same methods as Windows Updates. Adobe knows about this as they once had Reader as a catalog file.

Presumably you'd be able to patch Silverlight via WSUS and/or SCCM. That's got to be a bunch easier than patching Flash Cheers Ken -----Original Message----- From: Micheal Espinola Jr [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, 3 January 2008 5:04 AM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: Re: Silverlight? Well, poo-poo on you. Installing flash = pita. Upgrading flash for security issues = huge pita. Thinking about having to do this for another product that I dont really "need" = pimb.
