Kurt,

We have "access is denied" when we try to look at the contents or the the 
security settings of C: and D: drives.

I am thinking of (1) rebooting in safe mode OR (2) doing repair from Windows 
DVD OR (3) recovering from DEll partition.

Which may be the best approach to get the security settings of C: and D: drves 
back to the default? Thanks.
