I don't think you can use the old OST files, however you can seed the OST in advance.

Currently we are using Outlook 2003 with OST files, and we are going to migrate to Outlook 2007. We are going to do an installation from scratch (new PCs). The problem we have is, that our Exchange servers (located at head quarters) are connnected through slow 2mbit WANs. So even if we only do a couple of migrations a day, per site, this would easily saturate the WAN connections. Is it possible to reuse the Outlook 2003 OST file in Outlook 2007, without performing an in-place upgrade ?
