I've just got to reply to Mike on his comment. I've been in the computer field for nearly 44 years, and I've enjoyed every minute. It gets very difficult to stay current, and there is SO MUCH to know, the question is how to sort it all out and which things are important. The problem you will learn as you get older, is your brain is just like a disk drive, it is NOT infinite, there is a limit to the total amount of "data" you can retain. Studies have determined that the human brain makes "decisions on what "data" it should retain, and what data it needs to "delete". In order to properly support users, you have a choice of retaining the info that is pertinent so you can respond quickly to solve problems, versus telling an impatient user that you need to "research" his issue and then going and running a google search. You state that you don't always have time, and you are correct. I don't know if you noticed, but their is life other than Info Technology. At age 70, I figured that out a few years back and I make sure I have time for non IT stuff!!!!! That results in less time for IT stuff!

I don't spend any amount of time with the Mac heads that is worth speaking about. It's just normal stuff. As for wild stories, that's a two way street.
