Dell reps don’t have to be a revolving door. If you get one that is bad, let their manager know (they should have their manager’s information in the signature of their email) and inform them that you want a new rep. If you have a great one by all means tell their manager (and possibly even mention the fact that your continued business with Dell hinges on them remaining your rep). We have had the same rep with Dell for over 3 years now, after 2 years of REALLY bad reps, and he is awesome. It does require you to be somewhat proactive in the process though, if you sit back and wait for a good rep to fall in your lap then you will indeed end up on the “bad rep merry-go-round”, but that is true of any vendor.
