(Hijacking thread) As a side note I found out something very disturbing about DPM - it's not supported on 2008 Datacenter Edition, it won't even install. Why it will work on lesser versions but not the top of the line is really is beyond me but I had to restructure my deployment because of this - thank god for VMWare!

If you can see it on a Windows server, then DPM can "recognize" it.
