No, I know that you are right. The point is that you can run an unlimited number of Windows Server in VM of the single copy you purchased. Windows Server as in Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter Edition. I know alot of people with Datacenter licensed purely for virtualization rights. I doubt a fraction of those ever installed Datacenter Edition though. VM's usually dont scale far enough to need Datacenter edition installed. If you lack media or keys for the other editions, talk to your reseller and he should be able to hook you up.
