Have you looked at Lexmark X945E as a copier replacement? We have tested these
units extensively in our hospital envrionment for 12 months and have made the
decision to remove our Xerox, Lanier, Sharp, and Minolta copiers in favor of
the X945E.

In my opinion, works as good as a copier, half the cost, and includes Lexmark's
Solutions Framework, for adding apps to the copier/printer.

We are looking at clinical application integration, but it also supports
SharePoint integration.

FYI.

Copiers and weed-eaters should be outlawed. Neither work for very long and
always break when you really need them.

I have not had good luck with any copier regardless of manufacturer. Canons do
seem to have a little better reliability.

How about any good/bad opinions about Xerox?
Specifically for scanning from the copiers?
Thx

+1 for canon. Our company uses them in all our offices. We have about 70 of
them under lease. Highly suggest you get the fiery's with them. Have had bad
experiences with savin and konica.

I've had more than one copier repairman refer to the Canons as the 'tanks' of
the industry, and that is true in my experience. Everyone will have a
favorite, but the Canons get my vote for just plain working.
