Laptop users sometimes have network issues when their machines are brought
from home and docked in the office. If the wireless connection is still on,
it'll take priority and try to use the configuration from the most recent
connection. (This happened to me this morning; took a few minutes to
troubleshoot.)
Ideally, I'd like the wired NIC to take precedence over the wireless
connection. I know I can assign metrics to the NICs to resolve this, but
is there a method to do so via GPO so I don't have to manually configure
each portable machine?
