Thanks, problem is the Windows 2008 DVD cannot "see" any hard drives at all so it never gives me the option of a volume to use. Really nasty

At the screen where you are supposed to pick the volume to install to, boldly click the "load drivers" link, and insert a USB key containing the necessary mass storage controller drivers for your PE1950. Would like to upgrade to Win2k8. Machine has CD media is on DVD so I got USB DVD. Boots fine with Dell startup/install DVD, when I try to install Server 2998 (is an option on menu) install fails - cannot see DVD to get the OS files. If I boot from Windows 2008 DVD install cannot find the Hard drives.
