Yep, the UI sucks. I use it so much it's become second nature. But (for one example) I don't get polls in Lync.

Works quite nicely for any standard web meeting I have needed to run. I still have LiveMeeting, but, IMO Live Meeting's UI is about as user friendly as Lotus Notes so I've been much happier with Lync.
