Fuze looks interesting and having checked with them, their licensing isn't
concurrent but you can have "pool" accounts vs. named individual.

I've not yet checked with them but as you use them you may be able to comment
first-hand - their website suggests that quite a raft of outbound ports are
needed if you want to use VOIP/Video, not just 80/443?

Also what's the score with any admin rights needed to use it? Obviously that's
a no-no with a lot of large corporations.

I've been having a brief look at a Webex trial we got today and I have to admit
I'm reasonably impressed so far.

We use Lync for internal meetings and IMs, but have recently started using Fuze
(www.fuzemeeting.com<http://www.fuzemeeting.com>) for our external meetings.

Cost is roughly the same as the 'big players', and it is Flash-based so there
are fewer "I can't download the plug in" complaints. The big advantage for us
was on the web conference - Fuze allows up to 100 attendees, everyone else was
capped at 25. We have a daily Ops call that usually has 30-40 attendees and
too many people were being 'shut out' of GoToMeeting.

I've switched to Lync. Works quite nicely for any standard web meeting I have
needed to run. I still have LiveMeeting, but, IMO Live Meeting's UI is about as
user friendly as Lotus Notes so I've been much happier with Lync.

Thanks,

I use Microsoft's LiveMeeting. It works quite well.

(The newer Lync-based replacement is still missing some features, but
LiveMeeting is fully featured.)

What are you all using please?

Obviously the big players are WebEx and GoToMeeting, just curious which, if
any, smaller/niche players any of you are using and how you've found them?

Thanks,
Paul
