Dear Tobias,
I'm not sure if this depends on your kernel or miboot itself:
I have got an Powermac 6100/66 with no extras yet.
I would like to install Debian Sarge on this machine, but I haven't
found a way to boot into the kernel and the necessary installer.
I tried different options (for videomodes, ram etc.) but after
booting the video freezes (just ugly black patterns on white background)
Since i did an sucessfull installation of YDL 2.x and 3.0 a few time
ago, i remember only MkLinux Booter as a working possibility.
But therefore its necessary to have an combined image (kernel
+installer).
Do you or does somebody else on this list know a sucessfull way of
installing sarge on PM 6100? Or does somebody can discribe the way to
get such an MkLinux-Install-Image?
