Hi Claus,
the miboot iso images from the files section aren't compiled with
Performa or PowerMac support - they only support the PowerBooks.
But I placed a miboot image on my webspace that is compiled with
support for all NuBus PowerPC Macintoshes (except the PowerPC upgraded
m68k machines).
I have no experiences with machines other than my PowerBook 1400, so I
don't know if you will need the "memory command line reporter" Mach
Kernel available directly from nubus-pmac.sf.net .The use of this
pseudo kernel is discribed on the page, too.
As far as I understand the project page you will have to tell the
kernel the option "video=ariel2fb" if you use the builtin video system,
or "video=nbpmacfb" if you use a card that is plugged into an expansion
slot.
But you already know this, don't you?
So, here is the link to the new miboot ISO:

Note that there most probably weren't any changes to the PowerMac or
Performa support since you installed YDL.
If the miboot ISO doesn't work I can send you a Mach Kernel image with
Sarge installer

I'm not sure if this depends on your kernel or miboot itself:
I have got an Powermac 6100/66 with no extras yet.
I would like to install Debian Sarge on this machine, but I haven't
found a way to boot into the kernel and the necessary installer.
I tried different options (for videomodes, ram etc.) but after booting
the video freezes (just ugly black patterns on white background)
Since i did an sucessfull installation of YDL 2.x and 3.0 a few time
ago, i remember only MkLinux Booter as a working possibility.
But therefore its necessary to have an combined image
(kernel+installer).
Do you or does somebody else on this list know a sucessfull way of
installing sarge on PM 6100? Or does somebody can discribe the way to
get such an MkLinux-Install-Image?
