I think Nuke will not give you the  snappy feel of a cached toxik.
Caching has not been one of nuke's greates strengths historically. Its
better now though. Diskchache hasn't worked for when I've tried it. If
you want speed. Use ssd and pre-render. And flipbook in something that
is built for that like rv or framecycler.
