Thanks David. Paraview managed to open the files when set VTK Particle Files. Now I just need to find out how to output something that I can use in Nuke or some 3D app from it.
Nathan I was going to look into partio today, but I couldn't get a computer with Maya installed. But I'll do as soon as possible. Thanks everyone! cheers, diogo On Tue, Jun 5, 2012 at 2:18 PM, David Sarma <[email protected]> wrote: > paraview might be another option: http://www.paraview.org/ > > I haven't tried it for scan data processing, but it deals with a lot of > different formats: > http://paraview.org/Wiki/ParaView/Users_Guide/List_of_readers#CSV_Reader > > > in case of other mesh processing needs, this article gives a nice > description of some open-source tools out there: > http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2039808/ > > > On Mon, Jun 4, 2012 at 10:54 PM, Diogo Girondi <[email protected]>wrote: > >> Wow!
