Hey Marek.
i’m running this on a mac.
The log I included in the last email would get stuck at that point and the
script would not move along (even when left overnight).

I appreciate your suggestion concerning individually installing the
dependencies. I will give that a try!
This brings up a point I have been meaning to make but was waiting until I got
a better grasp of the workings on this project.
For non-devs like myself who are interested in this project solely for the
machine learning aspect of it (which is my background), it would be great to
have a version of NuPIC that works out of the box. Something stable, even if
not optimized yet.

My interest in NuPIC, as I’d imagine is the case for most ML researchers, is
investigating its claims. How well it clusters? How well it captures temporal
data? Can I get better performance with it than state-of-the-art methods? Most
importantly, can I incorporate multiple layers in the hierarchy and incorporate
feedback?
So it would be nice to have something that allows us to directly jump into
exploring those venues rather than be bogged down with topics are more
developer/programmer-guru oriented.

Nicholas
