Log of nwamd when not switching.
In 04/23's non-debug build I get a network connection on boot, but it would
appear to be always the User profile:
ncp User online
ncu:ip myk0 online
ncu:link myk0 online
ncu:ip ath0 online
ncu:link ath0 online
ncp Automatic offline
loc Automatic offline
loc NoNet offline
loc Legacy offline
And also, for some reason there is no location enabled... Which means despite
having an address I cannot resolve hostnames.
ASIDE: I can't manually enable the Automatic loc, but that's expected really -
but I would have expected it to be on by default even for the User NCP, is that
wrong?
Anyway, when I enable the Automatic NCP:
$ nwamadm enable -p ncp Automatic
Enabling ncp 'Automatic'
I don't get any visible error, but even after waiting for a minute or more, I
run the nwamadm list command again:
TYPE PROFILE STATE
ncp User online
ncu:ip myk0 online
ncu:link myk0 online
ncu:ip ath0 online
ncu:link ath0 online
ncp Automatic offline
loc Automatic offline
loc NoNet offline
loc Legacy offline
still no change.
Looking in the log I see:
nwamd[66]: [ID 565310 daemon.debug] 3: door_switch: activating Automatic
nwamd[66]: [ID 464128 daemon.debug] 3: enqueueing event 3 (OBJECT_ACTION) for
object (80c8688) Automatic
but almost nothing about actually switching. Attached is the complete log for
this session.
