In a home or open office environment that is not much
of a problem. For instance I installed a wifi network
in an home and the guys all had modded PCs which they
boasted on top of their desk. they use the PCI wifi
card and you can attach seperate antennas to them. It
should be told to newbies as an option is my point.
And the PCMIA adapter is not as good an optio as the
USB from my testing. I prefer the USB for wifi desktop
usage myself. but I use a PCI wifi card for mys erver
with a huge external antenna to transmit internet
access to a 600 ft area in my simple PC network. Works
great.

Alisha S. Outridge

No one and nothing is perfect but the aspiration to be so should never be lost.

Life, like Love, is what you make of it... so make it good!
