just a heads up to all those laptop users, i stopped by alt.coffee today to catch up on email and get some good coffee, only to find new messages posted all over the place. they're no longer allowing laptops or even cellphones to use their outlets. The sign states it's because of "liability and a few bad apples" (paraphrasing) but when i asked the woman at the counter, she claimed it was my fault cause people like me were lurking for hours using their electricity. (i always make a point of buying things semi-regularly if i'm there for any significant time.)
