Hi everyone,

I am installing netbeans on my Ubuntu laptop for a test spin as we 
speak.  Please keep giving feedback if you have any (for future readers 
of this thread etc) but if this trial works I will install it on my dev 
box.  Thanks for all the input.  I'll probably report back later.
