I freely admit that when it comes to web designers, I may be small
fry... but *my* clients hire me to handle all the techno stuff for them because
they are too busy with *their* businesses to bother with the nitty-gritty of
dealing with their website's more arcane and technical matters. (Their
viewpoints, not mine.)
So, why would your service be of any use to designers like me?
Not trying to be argumentative... just trying to discover the rationale
behind your marketing of such a service in this forum.
To also echo ping-time comments previously made... to solve that, I get
a NZ host for my clients to best present their site in terms of load-times...
unless they are on *really* tight budgets, then I look at cheap US hosting. UK
is just one more step further down the fibres, sure... but why take that extra
step if there isn't a compelling reason to?
Plus... being able to send them a single bill keeps things looking
'tidy and professional', and allows me to continually seek the best service
offerings, without confusing the client with sudden changes in billing
practices... so your billing model turns *me* off, sorry.
Cheers...
ps. Despite all that, I highly applaud your proactive marketing
attitude, so kudos for that, if nothing else. Good on you for checking for
potential spam-violations before posting. Might have set a better tone if you
had mentioned that 'approval' in your original post.
