Are you sure you changed the legal name when transferring? This

Yes
One password (domain control panel) is all it would take for someone
to claim unreputable ownership of about 120 domains in our case
(without proving illegal access).
Keep it secure.
Or ruin my ease of life by tracking down the registrar and raising the
issue etc
