Hi,

I found my job here: www.companies.govt.nz, but jokes aside I have
used both this mailing list and Seek for recruitment and the results
are much better in this mailing list, not so much for quantity, but
for quality.

I've heard good things about Sead from many angles, but my general
view of the recruitment industry is that they can only add value if
you don't actually know what you want. I have written about this here
http://automatem.posterous.com/they-ask-for-a-lot-in-this-job-ad and
it matches IMO also with the content of "What colour is your
parachute". You get the best jobs/candidates through networking.
Having organised a tramping group for a number of years and seeing the
conversation happening there, I recommend you go tramping to find a
job or candidate.

HTH, Jochen
