Because they have invoice systems that will simply turn off all
services when the payment period ends. Therefore, if you move DNS
hosting outside of them, their billing systems wont affect you.  as
your domains are somewhere else already, you shouldn't have a problem.

With automated mass hosters you can either have uptime or double
billing, not both.
