Sorry, I was under the impression that beeing a non-Jackrabbit/Oak PMC member
my +1/-1 in this formal [VOTE] is non-binding anyway.
Angela and Julian gave good explanations already, but summarized:
oak-[Type of Node Store]-[Implementation] is a recognizable scheme and
avoiding versions is a must (I/O, NIO, NIO.2...). So later after a refactoring
there could be:
oak-document-mongo
oak-document-memory
oak-document-rdb
oak-document-orient
oak-segment-tar
oak-segment-pax
In a perfect world I would go for
org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.plugins.segment.tar though.
