There are leather pads you can get that have adhesive on one side that are designed
to prevent your heel from slipping, but I cannot recall what the heck they are
called. They are usually suede leather and kidney-shaped. You will likely have to
replace them once in a while, especially if your shoes get wet which will weaken
the glue.
