My observations in Maryland are the same as Paul's in Virginia. Motorists are a
whole lot more careful about cyclists down here. Colleagues here are shocked when I
tell them how the cyclist fares in Ontario after being hit by a motorist... They
commented that our system is surprisingly inhumane. Not what they would have
expected of Canada.
