I have been corresponding with PSIRA for some months on behalf of ONW in an attempt to get clarity. Mr Roman, their Regional Manager (phone 021 425 2370) has not responded to my two more recent emails, nor has Mr Eddie Booysens (phone 083 629 7642) who is the Inspector who is supposed to be investigating both OAR and OCS. Registration with PSIRA is compulsory for anyone who renders a security service. I spoke to Mr Booysens on 29 July and he confirmed that there is an ongoing investigation into these two organsations. He stated that OAR were registered in 2001, but under a different name. He said that PSIRA had 'major issues' with OAR which are 'not yet resolved.' Anyone who would like copies of my email correspondence with PSIRA is welcome to email me. I am attempting (so far without success) to get an update from PSIRA.
