I've been informed by both Richard Frost AND PSIRA that Premier Armed Response are registered: their registration number is 105421. They are also registered with SAIDSA.
Re Eric's suggestions: Premier are significantly expanding their client base by taking over Observatory Armed Response. (If I were an OAR client I would feel; very relieved!) I doubt that it is legally, technically or organisationally possible for Obsid to take on the functions of an armed response company. What we can hope for is close cooperation bewteen all security providers in the area - SAPS, Obsid and Vetus Schola, ONW, the local Subforum (linked to the CPF) and the various private security companies. ONW and Obsid and the SUbforum are the bodies to facilitate this cooperation. A great start would be for anyone concerned about security to attend the upcoming ONW AGM (and SAPS Imbizo) on 26 October at 18.30 at the Community Centre -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "The Observatory Neighbourhood watch" group.
