Thanks, this is great! I've been thinking for a while now that with smartphone technology, there should be nothing stopping one from simply taking a snapshot of the meter, and sending it via email directly to the accounts people. Would love to hear about it if you find an email address for water meter readings too, because my meter is unfortunately inside the property.
