If you step back a bit, you will find that it /does/ own those projects, for some reasonable definition of the verb "own". All of those projects are chartered to produce a change to ON. They make a copy of ON, do some magic, do some ARC, do some C-Team..., and then at some time later, request to integrate their changes back into the mainline version of ON. Without ON, these projects have no meaning. The same goes for X, Desktop, ..., and even SFW. The ARC, C-Team and the rest all exist simply to make this process work. They ALL work together, each in its own role, to instantiate the development process that we use to evolve OpenSolaris. -John
