If the perceived inequality is because you asked for contributor status, 
the status was deserved, and yet still denied - then yes, I will agree 
there is inequality.

But I don't perceive people not asking (not implying that you haven't - 
but I believe that's the point you are making) to be an inequality.  I'm 
actually a strong advocate of people not being given the right to vote 
unless they explicitly ask.

Some of the members undoubtedly do (I won't hazard to assume more than 
Alan).  But you still need to make your request to the X Windows 
Community; NOT to the OGB community.

Do Juergen and Ben feel like they need and should have contributor 
status?  If they do, and they actually want it - then they should 
propose (or you can nominate them).
