Define very safe...

By "very safe" I mean I within the boundaries set by the d20 STL.

You might end up with a finished product that you can't
distribute (if it's a PDF). They could change the STL and you'd have to
change your product.

Of course, but there isn't much to be gained from sitting around worrying about what they _might_ do. I am not going to not produce my product because WotC might change the d20 STL, just like I am not going to not produce my product because I might get hit by a bus tomorrow. : )

However, if the d20 logo is only of secondary concern, then if they changed
the STL and forced you to drop the logo then maybe you are pretty safe no
matter what.

Citing compatibility with d20 Modern (through proper means, of course) is pretty much vital to my product.

Good luck on sales.

Thanks!

There is a time for bingo and there is a time for funerals. Try to keep them separate.
