It's fair use. True--but none of those companies prodcued OGL'd material, so the OGL has no bearing on them anyway. But if you were to advertise in the NYT.. well, sorry. Or if you "advertise" what page your article is listed on in your magazine, or "advertise" it in your magazine's editorial.
