First off, this is the husband's membership, so don't go thinking all
messages from this name are female--they're not.

Ok, granted, I am an established player female, not a non-player, but from
this female's pov at least, I can tell you what would make things more
interesting for me. I would like to see more adventures that require brains
to complete. Don't get me wrong--I love to blow things up and watch people
die just as much as anyone else, but I just don't get into the hack 'n'
slash deal that a lot of the guys I've gamed with do. I want to be mentally
involved or I get bored really fast. For the 5 or so years that I have been
gaming, one gm has challenged me mentally. All the rest of the games I have
played have been hack 'n' slash, and boring to the extreme--and by the way,
I am talking about a variety of games, not just d&d. I think a lot of
females prolly like fantasy, but personally, I prefer sci-fi--i.e.
shadowrun, where you get such cool toys...*sigh*
