2 things
1) In your technical manual there is _no question_ what you mean by "turn
the machine on" or "right double click icon".
2) The world will not stop being so litigious just because we don't like it.
We have to have the agreement written so it can protect us from everyone
else. It doesn't mean everyone wants to sue you into the stone age, it means
there _are_ those who will sue and if you don't follow the _established_
ways to CYA then YOU LOSE wether you are right or wrong. The only way you
will change this is to change society, and this is the wrong list for that.
