I am NOT saying that. Those are points that OTHERS were bringing up.
My central point is that (unlike pre-OGL) "amateurs" can now experience real
financial consequences for unintentional mistakes. The arena is now safer
for producers but involves potential FINANCIAL risks for amateurs that did
not exist pre-OGL - PARTICULARLY for the amateurs that put the effort into
TRYING to follow the rules. This is demonstrably true.
It was my understanding that this list was created to discuss the OGL and
ALL of its potential ramifications on the "Gaming Community". That is ALL I
am trying to do. If you see me going off in a direction that you are
CERTAIN the OGL is not going to go, then all you have to do is tell me. I
will shut up or just take it off the list. You don't need to dump all over
me when I am just trying to help out.
Cool down. We have an OGL. We have an SRD. They are both great stuff!
