"Any further concerns, contact Ryan Dancey or Richard
Stallman. They have already had extensive discussions
on the compatibility of the two licenses."

What's that supposed to mean? This is a forum. I'm
raising my concerns here.

If you are distributing Open Game Content through
another license (GNU), you are in violation of Section
2:

"2. The License: This License applies to any Open Game
Content that contains a notice indicating that the
Open Game Content may only be Used under and in terms
of this License. You must affix such a notice to any
Open Game Content that you Use. No terms may be added
to or subtracted from this License except as described
by the License itself. No other terms or conditions
may be applied to any Open Game Content distributed
using this License."

It doesnt matter how compatible the two licenses are.
The license does NOT say: "No other terms or
conditions may be applied to any Open Game Content
distributed using this License unless any such terms
or conditions are compatible with this license." It
says you cant do it. Period.

Now, it may be that you and WotC have gotten an
agreement that WotC will not consider it a violation
of Section 2 if the GNU license is used because they
view that as compatible. That could be true. But that
is contrary to the license and is tantamount to a
second agreement, sort of like the gentelpersons
agreement that lets us use the draft material--that
isnt in the OGL. Such an agreement would also be of
interest to this forum, I would imagine.
